IICF Web Revamp

As an art director, I had the privilege of assisting IICF, a nonprofit organization, in creating a new web identity that would be user-friendly and appealing across multiple websites. I worked closely with IICF's team to understand their values and goals, and we collaborated to develop a design concept that would resonate with their audience. We aimed to create a welcoming, user-friendly design to engage visitors and encourage them to learn about IICF's mission and programs.


I conducted extensive research on nonprofit websites and branding that resonated with IICF's target audience to achieve this goal. This helped me identify key design elements and user experience trends that would appeal to their audience. We created a modern, clean design with bold colors and high-quality images that showcased IICF's work and impact. Additionally, we prioritized straightforward navigation and useful features such as IICF in the news and relief campaigns. The project was a success, and IICF's team was thrilled with the final result.

Overview
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) is a reputable nonprofit organization that facilitates the connection between companies and individuals within the insurance industry and various charitable groups. The IICF's philanthropic efforts positively impact a multitude of individuals. However, the IICF recognized the need to enhance its web presence to effectively reflect its organization's identity and amplify its charitable impact.

Goals
This project aimed to bring IICF's web presence into the 21st century and allow them to use its websites as tools for change. The sites needed to be professional yet inviting and easy to maintain and update, as IICF has many campaigns and initiatives across multiple divisions.

Strategy
Implement a modern design to emphasize IICF's impact. Utilize IICF's great photography from its many charity events. Create a content management system so each division can control, edit, and post its content. Making finding what you are looking for and donating as easy as possible.

Outcome
I worked closely with the IICF team to create a new web identity across all touchpoints. I helped with SEO and set up analytics to understand traffic on the sites better. The new identity has been well received by their audience, and with the new tools and features we built, they have been able to reach more people and make a more significant impact.
